My French-speaking friends refer to TricTrac as being the French equivalent.
I know this is a long shot, but does anyone out there know of a Spanish-language equivalent to BoardGameGeek?
Wherein Eric discusses Games, the Game Industry, Gamer Culture and anything else which catches his eye.
I haven't looked *that* hard, but there's none that I know of.

I'm at a huge disadvantage when looking for non-English sites, as English is the only language I speak fluently.
My wife is fluent in Spanish, which is one reason we're looking for a Spanish game-related site. She doesn't speak Spanish in her daily life, and she doesn't want to lose the language.
We figure the challenge of translating a game will keep her skills sharp (and be a lot of fun).

ReplyDeleteWe're having trouble finding Spanish-language games. :) We found a few Spanish-language RPG sites, and she has been translating the Spanish version of FUDGE into English. Since I have the English version, it's fairly simple to find errors.
There are also a Spanish-language guild on BGG. She's more active on the Geek this year than she has been in the past. Maybe she'll beinterested in the guild ...
